DAY 1 - You arrive in Bäckefors, a picturesque village in Dalsland, where every street breathes history.
Check in at Bäckefors Hostel and experience the Swedish countryside. The charming building in Bäckefors offers various rooms and apartments for solo and group travellers. DAY 2 - Bushcraft with Dalsland Activities
Discover Bushcraft, the modern art of nature awareness, with Dalslands Aktiviteter. Indulge in an incredible experience with our outdoor activity where you learn ancient survival techniques with tools from the past. Our experienced tour leader will take you to the forest, where you will explore how simple tools such as knives, axes and fire can become your best friends in the wilderness.
In the morning, you will carve tools, chop wood and collect fuel. Challenge yourself by lighting a fire the old-fashioned way with a fire steel. Once you've succeeded, it's time to cook over the self-lighting fire, without modern tools such as matches or lighters.
Take the opportunity to carve your own spoon as a unique souvenir of this amazing adventure! Please note that pets are welcome during the activity.

Experience the typical Swedish countryside at Bäckefors Vandrarhem, a hostel with individual beds and apartments for solo and group travellers. The premise is set in a cosy environment in Bäckefors where you can reconnect with nature, leaving behind the hustles of your busy life.
With 28 beds available on-site, the accommodation provides a hostel as well as one-room apartments for visitors. If you book a bed in one of the cottages, the stay includes a shared kitchenette and shower area. The premise also has conference facilities and provides accommodation for events. If you’re visiting with a group, breakfast and coffee can also be added to your stay.
